I choose these example because they are the kind of style which is similar to my restaurant I have in my head. 

Carliccio's - Italian restaurant

This is a good example of a restaurant website. The website isn't too garish and the typography is contemporary for example the sans serif and the script together. It has that vintage style that is still being used and is quite popular.

Wagamamas

- Japanese restaurant

I go to Wagamamas a lot, mainly because I love the food but also because maybe the interior and branding of Wagamamas is pretty sweet. Inside you sit on benches and the decoration is quite neutral. The Red on the grey makes the red pop. The brand  follows the Japanese style of design. 

Jamies Italian

I don't particularly like Jamie's Italian as a website, but I have seen the interior and exterior of the restaurant and it is contemporary and quite stylish, I just have a problem with the busy menu and website and I am not a massive fan of the typography. I will make sure I address this on my website for KERN.

Pizza Express - Italian restaurant

Lock Fyne - Sea food restaurant

Although this isn't a bad example of a website and I also picked it because of the wooded background I want to include, it just doesn't apeal to me. I will have to address this and basically get over it as I am not the demographic that I am trying to appeal to.
