Original Examples
I choose this example of branding because it has been applied appropriately across a range of media. I also think it is cool how they have displayed the brand in a live environment which is the shop where they bottle this spirit.
This is clever because you can see how they have represented the female gender with the triangular shaped hair that is between the fingers. This is obviously meant to representant the female form using hair which is the area of profession.
I am into this simply because of the strong yellow paper stock which is slightly unusual. I understand the only thing that changes across the range is the placement of the logo but I think it works and fulfils its purpose to a certain degree.
The profession that is being advertised has directly influenced the stock in which the branding has been printed on, appropriately and in the same style as you would see in the construction trade.
The way the paper folds combined with image of flowers on the card allows you to fold the paper so it looks like a bunch of flowers. I think this is clever and simple.

This is really cool, I am interested in colour within print. This series of books is colour coded.

Good use of layouts.
Because I want to utilise grid systems this is a good example of contextual research for what I am doing
Interesting way of binding. A lot of processes have been used on this.
Although I want to use grid systems I also want to break the grid. Another good example of breaking the grid.
Choose this example because of the overlaying of the colour red.
This layering is different, the banana kind of weaves in and out of the type.
Interesting yellow spot colour.
