-Start drawing regularly
My work during foundation used to be predominantly hand rendered work focusing on illustrating. I have almost stopped drawing and have currently been working using new software which has meant a lot of my work if not most has been digital.
-Experiment with screen printing
After reading week apparently we have our screen printing inductions for both Vernon street and Blenheim walk which I need to make the most of. I will try and use the facilities as much as possible. Just like I have with the laser cutting machine.
-Try and do my own design
I'm still finding that I am doing most of my work for college and then not doing work of my own in my free time. I think this is probably because of the mount of work we have had for the last module but there is still time to do some of my own stuff.
-Use the library resource
Take more design books out of the library and be more familiar with the library in general. It is a great resource and while I am paying to be here I might as well get my moneys worth by renting books from the library.
-Create a more varied design style
Trying new techniques ways of doing work. I think this is important as I want to remain a versatile designer who is open to trying new things constantly experimenting with different ways of working and creating interesting design.
