Design Context: What Is a Line?

Seeing as my questionnaire wasn't very successful I have to ask the question why? I think survey monkey might not be the right way to collect data.

Personally I get too many emails asking me to fill out surveys for other people which I actually find annoying. So its pretty contradictory of me to make a survey on survey monkey and send it out. I am going to literally go around the BAGD group and ask people what some of their favorite films are. I think by doing this with a combination of films I like will be more successful.

Another reason why I think my survey wasn't successful is because the questions were quite specific and I don't think people actually knew the answers. Maybe I asked the wrong set of people. People who study media and film might be better to ask.

New Rationale

I am going to change slightly what I am doing to the outlines of people instead of the outlines of famous film hair styles. This was also in the list I picked along with the lines within and around hair styles. I think I will get better results with a wider depth of silhouettes.

So my final products will be postcards with film scenes that I have picked framed within the outlines of a character from within the film.
