I was researching how organic memory works and I stumbled across this image of a brain scan. I find it really interesting how colourful the scans can be. I think it is something to consider especially when originally I was really focused on producing something that was extremely colourful. I am collecting these references as hopefully they will help me visually to produce informed design with contextual relevance.
When I was looking at the brain scans I then came across glow in the dark cats. The catas were genetically modified in order to study their cells easier as the cats were being researched for the purpose of finding a cure for AIDS. Its weird that there probably is demand for glow in the dark cats on a commercial level. Links to perception quite well.
Another example of bright highly coloured images of jellyfish. I was making a connection with how we perceive animals especially animals we don't really come into contact with apart from on Planet Earth with David Attenborough.
