I laser cut the text using the laser cutter. I used masking tape to secure the letter so that lining them up wouldn't be a problem because they were solely type as well. The first cut I did all of the letters fell everywhere and I was struggling to line them up. So I just decided to cut them again a little bigger and use the tape which worked well.
I pressed the wood type too hard and it imploded and spread out which did actually effect the embossing. Luckily it dint look too bad and people said they thought it was an effect when they saw it which actually looked quite good.
